Missionaries Without Borders is a nonprofit committed to bring about change in our country Guatemala profit organization. We lead by example and have given our lives to serve others. We go where others do not, hoping to give new opportunities, new life and new hope to communities suffering extreme poverty in the mountainous region of Guatemala. We do not know borders because we know our Father walks with us wherever we go.
Description
Goal
We are currently raising funds to start building a home with capacity to receive 60 children in its first stage. We ran out of space since August 2013 and have had to turn away children from the courts and the community due to lack of space. The new house will double the capacity of what is now our.
City children will have a module College, workshops, health center, dining, home to tourists and missionaries, camping area, sports hall and bodegas. Currently we have camping area for groups and we are seeking ways to build basic services such as toilets and showers. We were able to receive and some groups of missionaries and have lived a unique experience. We hope that with the implementation of basic services we can start getting groups regularly and to project a community tourism, since there is much need around development projects. We have worked several community projects with the help of missionaries such as: Installation of water filters, training community leaders, implementation of electricity, construction of pharmacies, crops, etc.
